When the holy Baal Shem Tov speaks to a stranger, the students think the stranger must be a tzaddik, so they introduce themselves to him later, but far from being a tzaddik, he's an ordinary Jew with an extraordinary lesson to teach the talmidim of the Baal Shem Tov.
